In The Deep is a British web series created by Brit-Nigerian producers Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor and Joseph a. Adesunloye. The duo have made two episodes of a 6 part mini-series available online with the remaining episodes dependant on an online fund raising campaign. In the deep follows the lives of four 20something gay friends as they nagivate their way through London life.

Although the show doesn't depict characters and paths of the lifestyle that mirror my reality, I'm interested to see the direction that the show will go in once the additional episodes are made available as the cinematography is good.
What would also be good to see is some character development. What was the lead up to Ade and Wesley get to the point where they blurred the lines between friendship and intimacy? What is at the root of Rene's promiscuity?
With that being said, it is safe to say that I'll be watching.
