Review - Mogul (Terrance Dean)
Mogul is the story told mainly through the eyes of Big A.T. a producer with pipe dreams of producing for urban music's big guns. He is also discreetly attracted to men. Without giving anything away, the book takes you on a journey full of twists and turns, love, sexual liaisons, revelations, drama, loyalty... it has it all! E Lynn Harris fans now have a haven in Terrance Dean's authoring whilst people new to experimenting with men will be getting off on the way the sex scenes are painted.
The gay love in the book really hit home. So deep and so well written. If love between masculine black guys was given more airtime globally, the black community would be a more tolerant collective I think.
A well structured fly on the wall into the world of entertainment that will have you unable to put the book down once you hit Chapter 7.
Terrance hats off to you for your foray into 'fiction'. You definitely have a fan in me. I would love for you to work with Deondre Gossett (DL Chronicles) to bring this to the big screen. Strike while its hot and all that!
