Judge Richard Hawkins increased Ruby Thomas's sentence from six years to seven years because of the homophobic nature of the attack.
Police found his blood smeared on Thomas's handbag and the ballet pumps she was wearing when she kicked him.
Glad that justice was served in this case. Just goes to show that if you are a clockable individual or someone who partakes public displays of homo affection in London or the UK for that matter, you need to be able to throw down if it goes down... in other words know how to defend yourself. Hopefully now Ian can RIP.
